STOP BUYING MADE IN CHINA

According to Wikipedia, China is the largest creditor of the United States. Says Wikipedia, “In May 2009, the US owed China $772 billion. In total, lenders from Japan and China held 44% of the [United States] foreign-owned debt.”

STOP BUYING MADE IN CHINA

What would happen to China if we stopped buying their junk?

China does not respond to the world wide disproval nor political pressure, and the corporate reality that feeds off the poverty and repression that create slave labor is not about to step forward and make any changes.

It’s up to us as consumers to make this change, and we can.

Read the labels; tell the shop owners why you are not buying that product. Ask for alternatives to be brought in, and buy them!

When we buy made in China, we are supporting the closing of western factories, unemployment, homelessness and poverty here. We are supporting a toleration tyranny that has one of the worst human rights record on the planet. We are supporting what is happening in Tibet.

We need to make a message with our buying power and we need to send that message loud and clear to China, and the corporations that support that reality.

Imagine what this could create!

We could be supporting local artisans and craftspeople, by purchasing quality goods that will not be in the landfill site within a year. We would be reducing transport costs thus making an impact on global warming. Local industry would be encouraged thus creating jobs as well as a local sustainable economy. Landfill and waste reduction is another offshoot of buying quality goods with less packaging!

WE CAN DO IT. SHARE INFORMATION WITH YOUR FRIEND AND FAMILY!

What are the some of the things happening in your neighborhoods that support this?

We have local farmers markets where good food can be purchased, especially during the summer months, various Artisans and crafts people have collective shops and you can also be found at some markets. Once you know your resources, it is easier to do.
