Gulf Oil Spill Follow the Money

THE VIDEO BP DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SEE!

Gulf Oil Spill Follow the Money

Why is Corexit 9500 and 9527 dispersant BP's product of choice?

BP executives and board members have direct financial ties to Nalco, so that the more Corexit

they use in their "clean-up" efforts the more they stand to profit from the disaster on the back-

end. It has been confirmed that the dispersal agent being used by BP and the government is

Corexit 9500, a solvent originally developed by Exxon and now manufactured by Nalco Holding

Company of Naperville, IL.  Their stock took a sharp jump, up more than 18% at its highest point

of the day today, after it was announced that their product is the one being used in the Gulf.

:
(Oil is toxic at 11 ppm while Corexit 9500 is toxic at only 2.61 ppm; Corexit 9500 is four times

as toxic as the oil itself.  It’s not a “lesser of two evils” scenario.)

BP’s use of Corexit 9500 on the oil before it rises to the surface seems to be a deliberate

attempt to mask the poison, to cover up that it continues to flow out from the ocean’s floor, while

making it impossible to recover.  In short, BP and Exxon want to spread the toxic oil throughout

the oceans of the world, pollute everywhere, rather than allow it to be seen coming to shore

where BP would have to pay for its containment and clean-up.  It’s our job to keep them from

getting away with sweeping this ugly mess under the surface.

People are getting sick in the Gulf States and the sick are getting worse. Meanwhile, the MSM,

EPA, President Obama and the rest of the merry band of government goofs that inhabit

Washington DC ignore the continued spraying of Corexit

(Activist, Mother, and Voice of the Gulf People, Kindra Arnesen sat down with the Project Gulf

Impact team, Matt Smith, Heather Rally, and Gavin Garrison recently to reveal shocking new

information about the BP oil disaster and why the whole world should be paying attention to

the Gulf. A must watch for anyone wanting new information on the Gulf of Mexico, she reveals

shocking new information sure to send waves through the country)

BP Oil Spill and Corexit 9500

Some people will continue to cover the situation in the gulf but we must also understand the grave danger in ignoring the other happenings throughout the world.

The solution is to challenge the companies that manufacture these products to eliminate the most toxic chemicals, and replace them with safer alternatives.

Nalco makes this claim (or some version of it) at a number of places on their website:

Corexit is safe and effective.

Corexit 9500, about four times more toxic than crude oil, is one of the most poisonous dispersant ever developed, and is up to 20 times more toxic than other dispersant, while being only half as effective.

With this knowledge, why would BP continue to use this product?

Interestingly, the 2010 board nominees for Nalco include former BP, and current Tesco board member, Rodney F. Chase, Monsanto's Carl M. Casale, and Lockheed Martin and J.P. Morgan's Mary M. VanDeWeghe.

Monsanto: Makers of DDT, Agent Orange, Bovine Growth Hormone, and PCBs. Said, “Their Products Where Safe.”

Why are they in Business? The Corporations are allowed to poison our environment.

During the Vietnam War, US military forces sprayed millions of gallons of herbicides (plant-killing chemials) on lands in Vietnam and Laos to remove forest cover, destroy crops, and clear vegetation from the perimeters of US bases. This effort, known as Operation Ranch Hand, lasted from 1962 to 1971.

Agent Orange has been linked to many health problems in Vietnam veterans and Vietnamese civilians. Thousands have died from conditions likely brought on by exposure to Agent Orange. The herbicide, and its component dioxin, is considered to be one of the most dangerous substances in the world. Overall, the mass spraying of Agent Orange has been called an "ecocide" because of the devastation that it wrought on the Vietnamese environment and on the health of many residents of that country

BP Oil Spill What Action America People Can Take

Justice For People in the Gulf from BP Oil Spill

People are filled with sorrow and outrage about the tragedy of the BP oil spill that occurred April 20, 2010

We, the Citizens of The United States of America, stand in solidarity with the State of Louisiana and the entire Gulf of Mexico, demanding an urgent resolve of this Extraordinary Crisis. We demand ACTION and ANSWERS, RESTITUTION and PROTECTION and we want it NOW!

So, much need to be done in the Gulf to make hole again! Why is it so hard to get any action?

No matter the issue, you can be certain that giant corporations are abusing our democracy for their own gain.

Our country is a ran by corporation America. What these corporation do is they come and buy government to get law change for them. Yes, Our government is sell us out.

$93.4 million is the amount that BP has now admitted to spending in just four months on its national advertising blitz, which is intended to put some gloss on its badly-faded corporate image. BP earned over 243 BILLION DOLLARS LAST YEAR ALONE?

Wonder how big oil got big?

The largest U.S subsidies to fossil fuels are attributed to tax breaks that aid foreign oil production, according to research released by ELI. The study, which reviewed fossil fuel and energy subsidies for Fiscal Years 2002-2008, reveals that the lion's share of energy subsidies supported energy sources that emit high levels of greenhouse gases. Fossil fuels benefited from approximately $72 billion over the seven-year period.

Which we the people pay out of our tax dollars.

The oil boys will land like a sledgehammer on any candidate calling for regulation or an end to offshore drilling as they exploit the Supreme Court's recent Citizens United decision, which allows unlimited campaign spending by corporations.

How far does our Government have to go? Before, we take action?
We the have Rights; the Government has Privileges."
The First Amendment was never intended to protect corporations.
This cannot stand. Free speech is for people, not corporations. We must act now.
What can we the people can do?

It is time to bring BP to justice.

BP has a long record of lawlessness. Among other things, during the last eleven years, it has been convicted of three environmental crimes.

BP has caused the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history: the Gulf of Mexico oil gusher.

The poisonous effects of the spill will linger for decades, if not longer.

The cost, in terms of environmental destruction, wildlife killed, landscapes despoiled, livelihoods wrecked, lives lost, is incalculable.
BP deserves the most severe punishment that can be given to a corporation.

Here is what you can do to help the people in the Gulf.
Stop BP's Corporate Abuse
Revoke BP's Corporate Charter

" Ruskin says. "If BP America is put in receivership, the company will find it harder to advocate for its own interests, because they won't really exist anymore. Its assets would be sold off to pay the creditors, like people in the Gulf states."
