Colombia also shares maritime borders with Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

Colombia can be divided into 5 main regions as per the climate and geography of this place. These regions can be named as the Pacific, Andes, Amazon, Eastern Plains and the Caribbean. Each region is known for its unique geographical features

The culture of Columbia represents the influence of Native American, Spanish and other European, African, American, Caribbean, and Middle Eastern influences, as well as other Latin American cultures.
